The Cheesecake Factory: Chocolate Tuxedo Cream™ Cheesecake

This past weekend, I was able to once again try another piece of cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. For this one, I actually ended up in Peabody Mass. at the Northshore Mall, instead of my usual trip to the Prudential Center. It had been a while since I had tried their cheesecake, slightly put off since trying the Stefanie’s Red Velvet. I was also in a fowl mood due to broken plans, and bad traffic.

Still, The Cheesecake Factory didn’t disappoint. The Chocolate Tuxedo Cream Cheesecake is a layered concoction of fudge cake, chocolate cheesecake, vanilla mascarpone mouse, and chocolate. As I humbly ate my piece of cheesecake in the middle of the mall food court (getting a table isn’t really necessary to enjoy cheesecake), I was surprised about how balanced the flavors of the cake were. It wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet thanks to the blend of chocolate against vanilla. It helped confirm my belief that cheesecake should always be paired with chocolate. Also, the layered textures of the different ingredients help make this an interesting dessert to eat as much as it is a tasty one.

All in all, this was another great dessert from the factory, but still not my favorite. I’ll have to keep trying more to figure out which kind is the best for me.
